The location of the accommodation is quite convenient, as it is close to most attractions and amenities. some rooms offer a decent view. the hostel also provides access to a swimming pool and a kitchen.

The cleanliness of the hostel, including the toilets and showers, was a major concern.

The decoration in the common areas of the hotel was lovely, with vibrant colors and unique artwork that added a touch of charm to the place. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel for people of all ages. The hallways were wide enough for me to navigate with my walker, and there were plenty of handrails and ramps to assist those with mobility issues. It's important for hotels to cater to the needs of seniors, and this one did a great job in that aspect.

It would have been even better if there were more staff available to assist with any inquiries or requests. Sometimes, it felt like the children working there were overwhelmed and unable to provide prompt service.

I recently stayed at Frogs-Hollow Backpackers in Darwin for a quick overnight stay. Despite being a budget accommodation, it exceeded my expectations. The manager, Jessica, was incredibly helpful and made my stay enjoyable. The hostel had a relaxed and easy-going atmosphere, perfect for socializing. The pool, BBQ, TV, and free parking were great amenities. The shared bathrooms were clean and the kitchen facilities were adequate. The location was convenient, within walking distance to the main street and a supermarket. it was a pleasant and affordable option.

    100% Recommend this hotel.

Unbelievably epic place near the city center, mind-blowing helpful staff, and the coolest bunch of people from all over the world. Absolutely jam-packed with adventurous souls every day. Super calm vibes during the day, but brace yourself for jaw-droppingly wild nights of non-stop partying! The outdoor dining area is perfect for chilling, and the swimming pools are pure bliss. The free wi-fi, car park, and breakfast with yummy toasts are just the icing on the cake. This place gives you all the awesomeness at the cheapest price in town!

During my recent stay, I appreciated the great location of this hostel, with key attractions and amenities within walking distance. the free breakfast provided a good start to the day with a variety of cereal options and toast with jams. the availability of tea, coffee, and sugar throughout the day was another advantage.

I must mention a few negative aspects. the bathroom facilities were subpar, with some showers not functioning properly and a lack of toilet paper in certain toilets on multiple occasions.

The hostel had a lovely, cozy ambiance with warm colors and tasteful decorations. It created a homely atmosphere that made me feel comfortable and welcome. The common areas were well-maintained, allowing me to relax and enjoy the company of fellow travelers. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hostel. The hallways were spacious and well-lit, making it easy for me to maneuver around with my luggage and navigate the different floors.

I would have appreciated some assistance or guidance from the staff regarding senior-friendly activities or tours in the area. While the children working there were polite, they seemed more focused on catering to the younger crowd.

the majority of the people there were backpackers from all over the world, which made for an interesting mix of cultures. It was quite busy with new people coming in every day. During the day, it was calm and relaxing, especially in the spacious garden with swimming pools. The best part was that it was the cheapest option in town. Cons: None 🙌.

Farm-to-Table Dining: The 24-hour restaurant at this charming backpacker farm takes eating local to a whole new level. With food sourced from their own farm, you can expect a farm-fresh feast that will have your taste buds doing a happy dance.

    Slight cleanliness issues.

The rooms at Frogs-Hollow Backpackers are simply amazing! The beautifully renovated rain shower bathrooms add a touch of luxury to my stay. And let's not forget about the balconies in certain units - perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or a relaxing evening. Plus, the safes in every guestroom give me peace of mind.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the tile/marble floor in the double room. But hey, that's just my preference and others might love it.

The staff helped me find my way when I arrived. The place suits me perfectly with free Wi-Fi, car park, laundry facilities, outdoor dining area, and a swimming pool. Plus, they serve breakfast and offer an airport shuttle. That's why I keep coming back for my trips.
