The decoration in the common areas of the hotel was lovely, with vibrant colors and unique artwork that added a touch of charm to the place. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel for people of all ages. The hallways were wide enough for me to navigate with my walker, and there were plenty of handrails and ramps to assist those with mobility issues. It's important for hotels to cater to the needs of seniors, and this one did a great job in that aspect.
It would have been even better if there were more staff available to assist with any inquiries or requests. Sometimes, it felt like the children working there were overwhelmed and unable to provide prompt service.

During my recent stay, I appreciated the great location of this hostel, with key attractions and amenities within walking distance. the free breakfast provided a good start to the day with a variety of cereal options and toast with jams. the availability of tea, coffee, and sugar throughout the day was another advantage.
I must mention a few negative aspects. the bathroom facilities were subpar, with some showers not functioning properly and a lack of toilet paper in certain toilets on multiple occasions.

The hostel had a lovely, cozy ambiance with warm colors and tasteful decorations. It created a homely atmosphere that made me feel comfortable and welcome. The common areas were well-maintained, allowing me to relax and enjoy the company of fellow travelers. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hostel. The hallways were spacious and well-lit, making it easy for me to maneuver around with my luggage and navigate the different floors.
I would have appreciated some assistance or guidance from the staff regarding senior-friendly activities or tours in the area. While the children working there were polite, they seemed more focused on catering to the younger crowd.

the majority of the people there were backpackers from all over the world, which made for an interesting mix of cultures. It was quite busy with new people coming in every day. During the day, it was calm and relaxing, especially in the spacious garden with swimming pools. The best part was that it was the cheapest option in town. Cons: None 🙌.

The rooms at Frogs-Hollow Backpackers are simply amazing! The beautifully renovated rain shower bathrooms add a touch of luxury to my stay. And let's not forget about the balconies in certain units - perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or a relaxing evening. Plus, the safes in every guestroom give me peace of mind.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the tile/marble floor in the double room. But hey, that's just my preference and others might love it.
